Great place for 'sides'.....

You couldn't find nicer staff in this quaint establishment. Waited a mere 20mins for their lunch special, the smothered chicken w/ mac n cheese, and yams for sides. The sides were great, the bun was wilted and hard, and the smothered chicken was unappealing. Watered down gravy over under/over cooked fried chicken. Result of fast cooking chicken in high heat. I'm sure there are some items on the menu that they cook well, based on looks of few patrons. Would I return, only if I had a craving for mac and cheese. Msg to owner/cook, taste your food and focus on presentation.

Each time I place an order it delivered just like I'm in Mama kitchen. Servers are polite, happy surrounding it pleasant but the lights could be dimmed slightly. Overall wonderful place to dine out or take home the service is just as good. No mistakes on your take home. Your cooking saves me on several occasions. Thank you Cassandra Derrick

The food here is seasoned well and cooked with a family feel....Chicken alfredo was good and my fiance says the corned beef is even better....Will definitely be back

This is truly a soul food dining experience. The food is cooked by an award winning chef but also with healthy ingredients. Special orders and diets are no problem. I had their Talapia with the chefs secet sauce. I have never tasted anyhing quite like it. I topped it off with homemade chocolate cake with butter cream icing made fresh by the chef's wife.I am told that they can accomodate from 1 to 1,000 people. The restaurant is truly a family experience. Most of the help is family. The chef comes out to meet and greet the guests, so everyone feels like family. I know I do
